IT never stands still and what was a good idea today will probably be the worst tomorrow.
As such you will need to continually assess the systems and services that you have put in place. For example, are they still delivering what they were designed to do? Have the requirements changed and are they still fit for purpose? Is there a more cost effective alternative? Are there new compliance reasons to change?
Through this you will highlight areas for improvement, which will need to be scheduled in as changes or projects.
